What is Ms. Fitz reading? Here’s the view from February 4th!
With our 2019 Challenge taking up this wall all January, it’s been awhile since my last check in! My recent favorites include Pride, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, Blended, Mercí Suarez Changes Gears (which won the Newbery a few weeks later!), the graphic novel adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank, Here to Stay, The Sun Does Shine, What to Say Next, Where the Watermelons Grow, and Damsel.
I didn’t love The Hazelwood, Counting to Perfect, Sold, or Felix XY. I visited a lot of places through my pages in December and January: the Phillippines, Ireland, Pakistan, the Caribbean, Canada, China, Hong Kong… not to mention the past, the future, and some fantasy realms. It’s been a busy winter! I’m hoping for a nice, relaxing February and maybe a few snow days to snuggle up and read ❄️ What are you reading right now?
The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X. R. Pan.
