View this post on Instagram Is a neurological condition like synesthesia – in which two senses are connected and cause involuntary second sensory experiences, like seeing colors while hearing music – a blessing or a curse? I can't even figure out if this BOOK is a blessing or a curse. On one hand, it is a fabulous, unique piece of work. On the other hand, it made me cry so hard that an airport employee had to take me aside and ask me if everything was alright. (NO IT'S NOT ALRIGHT, SIR. THIS BOOK HAS A CAT ON THE COVER AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. ðŸ˜) A wonderful, moving, eye-opening book; Wendy Mass' best yet. Read it and weep. #literally #ireadya #synesthesia #weneeddiversebooks #librarian #readthis A post shared by Ms. Fitz (she/her) (@fitzbetweentheshelves) on Sep 13, 2016 at 8:05am PDT Share this: Click to share on X (Opens in new window) X Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Like Loading...
