Hello, Learning Leopards! Are you still out there? Did you have a wonderful summer vacation? And – most importantly – are you ready for some library time? 🙂

Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year at the Johnson Elementary School Library! The Learning Leopard library has BIG plans for this year. We are movin’ and shakin’, and we invite you to come visit our newly redesigned space. Monday, August 18 from 1:00-3:00 PM, Johnson will host its annual Open House. While you’re visiting your favorite teachers and admiring the beautifully waxed floors, stop into the library and say hello.

While you’re here, keep an eye out for some of our student-centered changes. These include a new classroom area, larger storytime area, expanded fiction section, and redesign for a more open and welcoming space. Or maybe ask about our new class schedule and updated checkout times. I’d love to hear your feedback about some of these big changes!

I look forward to seeing all of my Johnson friends, both old and new, on Monday afternoon!
