Being the new kid at school can be hard. Being the new kid that has a giant purple monster following her around causing gentle havoc… well, that complicates things a bit. Graphic novels can sometimes feel off limits to female readers, with all the BOOM and POW and BLAM! But Jellaby is sweet, funny, and approachable for all young readers.
