Coming Soon: 4th and 5th Grade Book Club

WHO: 4th grade students and their book club hosts – 5th grade readers!

WHAT: 5th grade is coming together to plan fun and interesting activities and discussion based around Paper Wishes*, a middle-grade novel by Lois Sepahban. Since they’re in charge of all of the planning, the details aren’t mine to share – but I know it will be great! All participants will also get a pizza lunch.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 25, from 11:30-12:15. This is a scheduled D day. If winter weather impacts our school schedule, I will post an update regarding a date change.

WHERE: The Learning Village Library.

WHY: Because STAB 5th graders are excited and proud to step beyond a typical book club and begin leading younger students with their love of literature.

See you there!

*Read more about Paper Wishes on its Amazon page here.  It is an excellent book with a wide range of emotions, including some sad moments. Especially sensitive readers may appreciate reading the book with a parent or friend. This book club is not mandatory. If you do not feel comfortable with our book choice, please discuss with your student before they sign up. We look forward to an engaging and insightful discussion surrounding the topics covered in this novel.
