I know it’s temping, but do NOT bring your dragon to the library! I love using this silly read aloud to keep library rules and expectations fun and interesting. My classes love the repetition and I love that characters of diverse colors, sizes, and abilities send the message that libraries are warm and welcoming spaces for everyone. Well… everyone except dragons 😉 PS: My third graders loved brainstorming ways to create a dragon-friendly library, including fireproof books, steel seating, and air-tight doors!
