This powerful opening from I Am Peace, by Susan Verde, kickstarted our conversation about taking a break in library this week. Let’s be honest, we’ve all felt this way… and our little ones definitely have, too. Kids may be little, but they have big feelings, big fears, and big ability to take control, with the right skills. Taking a break isn’t about being in trouble, it’s about taking a mindful moment to find your anchor. Ask your Lower School reader what skills and tools they have to find their anchor when their boat is moving too fast.
