St. Anne’s-Belfield School celebrated Kindness in Chalk Day and Unity Day today, and I loved watching all of the extra kindness spread like confetti over our school. And tonight, I’m wondering – How do we continue the conversation, and how do we make it even deeper and more meaningful? How do we teach and model what kindness and respect look like and feel like in a world that spends so much time on the opposite? How do we teach kiddos how to truly step up and support each other when it’s uncomfortable and difficult? What helps you and your little learners to keep kindness in focus every day of the year, and not just on Unity Day? What works for you? I’d love your help.
