You’re invited to our 6th annual Books on Bikes Parade!
Books on Bikes season is right around the corner, and it’s time to celebrate 🎉 Join us Saturday, June 8, for a morning full of family fun! We’ll meet at Clark Elementary School at 9:30 AM for bike decorating, helmet fitting, and general fun. Bring your favorite wheels and your helmet. If you don’t have a helmet, we can help with that! All of our riders use top-notch noggin protection. Around 10:15 AM, we’ll start our big parade, rolling through town with style! (Don’t feel like rolling? Walkers, joggers, and drivers are welcome too.) 🚲 📚
Our route ends at the Central Branch of the Jefferson Madison Regional Library for their Summer Reading Kickoff Hullabaloo. Our awesome public library system closes down the whole street with music, face painting, games, food trucks, free books, and more! They also make it so easy to sign up for a library card on the spot, and get a head start on your summer reading. Every year, the bike parade is my favorite way to kick off the summer, and I love seeing friendly faces there!
