George Washington

I read the book called George Washington. It was about his lifetime, and what he did. He was in the war. It was England versus France, and it was a tough war. They were fighting over Virginia. He married Martha Custis in 1759. Then he was going to a second war but this time, he was fighting England.

George was the leader of Virginia. they fought hard, and they won the war. They wanted a president now! George was the first president. He is called the Father of Our Country.
