As a part of our Picture Book Month celebration, the Johnson Elementary School Learning Leopard Library blog is searching for the best picture books around. I asked some of our staff members to share their favorite picture books with me, so that I could share them with you!

Mr. Stern’s favorite picture book is Creepy Carrots, which is written by Aaron Reynolds and illustrated by Peter Brown. This creepy story was published in 2012 and was named a Caldecott Honor Book in 2013.
