Happy Pig Day, by Mo Willems
It teaches you a great lesson. The lesson is that even if you don’t look the same you should still be a part of the thing you want to be a part of. I think Piggy shows a lot of excitement at the beginning and I love the illustrations. So you know just be looking if they’re happy or sad. I have a connection with the book you might too, my connection is that when I moved to a new school I saw a big group of kids having fun they saw me but kept having fun I felt sad just like Gerald. But one kid came over and invited me to play and comforted me. Just like Piggy did to Gerald.
What a great review. I love Mo Willems’ books, but I haven’t read this one. I’ll have to look for it.
