November is Picture Book Month! As a part of our Picture Book Month celebration, the Johnson Elementary School Learning Leopard Library blog is searching for the best picture books around. I asked some of our staff members to share their favorite picture books with me, so that I could share them with you!

Mr. Milor’s favorite picture book is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. This Dr. Seuss classic was originally published in 1960 and, just like many of Seuss’ other stories, is beloved all over the world. It is considered one of the best selling childrens books of all time, and was named in the National Education Associations’ Top 100 Books for Children. If you’re looking for a challenge, try reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red fish, Blue Fish in another language – it is available in more than six languages other than English!
