Marty Preston is a boy that lives in West Virginia. One day, he saw a beagle near the old Shiloh schoolhouse. Marty named the beagle after the schoolhouse. Marty is the main character. Marty  didn’t want to give back the dog to the previous owner. Marty loves shiloh so much. shiloh is by phillIS Reynolds NAYLOR.  SHILOH IS A GREAT BOOK, YOU SHOULD READ IT.
