Matilda

by Roald Dahl

This is a book about a five-year-old girl, who has horrible parents. She learned to talk when she was one, learned to read when she was three, and she was fluent with multiplication by the time she was five. Her parents were not home much, and that’s when Matilda discovered the library. She read all the childrens books there, and started reading grown up books. When Matilda was five, she went to school with horrible Ms. Trunchbull. That’s when Matilda discovered her power, that could get rid of Ms. Trunchbull. And that’s where all the fun starts…

You will like this book if you like funny stories about awesome people. Happy reading!

This Student Book Review was written by Grace, a Johnson Elementary School student. Grace drafted and write the book review independently. Grace is in the fourth grade.
