Insta Review: Six Kids and a Stuffed Cat, by Gary Paulsen fitzbetweentheshelvesUncategorizedBook ReviewLeave a comment Insta Review gives you a new book recommendation in under a minute. Go ahead, time it! View this post on Instagram As I puzzled my way through Six Kids and a Stuffed Cat, I couldn't shake one overwhelming question: has Gary Paulsen ever actually had a conversation with a middle schooler? I'm not exactly an expert, but from my experience, that's not how middle schoolers talk. That's not how middle schoolers act. And that's not how middle schoolers read. Maybe he was going for quirky? Hailed as an "all-male version of The Breakfast Club", I was excited for this read… But I quit after 100 pages. If you're really determined, just make sure you've got a thesaurus and a lot of patience with you for this one. #bookreview #librarian #ireadya #youngadult #nope A post shared by Ms. Fitz (she/her) (@fitzbetweentheshelves) on Oct 10, 2016 at 9:25am PDT Share this: Click to share on X (Opens in new window) X Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Like Loading...
