Local to the Charlottesville area? I’ve been working with New Dominion Bookshop, the beloved Charlottesville institution, to bring free family programming out of the library and into the city this summer. Don’t Let the Pigeon Come to Storytime! will be offered to young readers, families, and mischief lovers of all ages. Readers can get a sneak peek at Mo Willems’ newest Pigeon story and enjoy a 10% discount on all of Willems’ books. RSVP for the event here.

 

On August 29 at 7 PM, all teens and tweens are invited for free pizza and a screening of the movie Love, Simon, based on Becky Albertali’s smash hit novel, Simon vs. the Homosapien Agenda.
