Learning Village Librarian Sarah FitzHenry has partnered with New Dominion Bookshop, owned and operated by Julia McCrae Kudravetz ’98, to provide free summer programming to all Charlottesville readers.

“I will be offering the same kind of literacy-rich, high engagement programming that I bring to the St. Anne’s-Belfield School library to all Charlottesville families for free,” noted FitzHenry.

“We have two June events planned so far, and I’m hoping to add a few more to the calendar before summer is out. My goal is to make love of literacy and fun with books more accessible, dynamic, and inclusive for all Charlottesville families.”

FitzHenry’s first event, Narwhal and Jelly Storytime, will be offered to young kids and families and include free Grit coffee and a 10% discount on the featured books. The event will kick off on June 29 at 11:00 a.m.
