What is Ms. Fitz reading?
Here’s the view from February 1!
The Ms. Fitz wall is covered with a display this month (if you haven’t seen it, check it out here!), so I’m trying out these book cover collages instead.
January was a month of gleefully raiding alllllll the best of 2019 reading lists I could find. And it was a great strategy – I loved so many of my reads this month! After a slump in the late fall, I’m feeling reinvigorated and excited about reading again.
Of the 17 books I read this month, 11 are available in our library (or are on their way with our most recent book order) and 5 were suggested by students, teachers, and families.
In January I really loved Kiss Number 8, Brave Face, Pie, The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise, Such a Fun Age, Stargazing, Song for a Whale, Ordinary Hazards, and Waking Up White. Like I said, it was a stellar month!
